I am a reformed bottler. I used to bottle up my emotions, holding them all in. I saw myself as a sponge that could absorb all the pain, frustration, anxiety... and guess what. There's a tipping point.⁠⁠I would bottle until the smallest thing made me explode. I'd hold in all my pain until tears would gush forth. ⁠⁠In those moments, I couldn't express my needs. How could I? I wasn't rational in the midst of rupture. I would be sobbing over spilled milk or screaming over a slight insult. The real issues weren't addressed and relationships were harmed.⁠⁠Please, find a better way than trying to hold the weight of the world on your shoulders.⁠⁠#RiseOverMountains
