Do you ever think how weird perspective is? You can look at the same day as someone else and you see a good day where they see a lonely one.Sometimes, we can be so caught up in the world as we see it. We sometimes forget how someone else can have an entirely different perspective of the same truth.For example, today, I had a great day at work. I was busy and productive. Today was my day. I enjoyed my projects, contributed meaningfully, and felt valued.In my view, Monday was wonderful. But two feet away from my desk, my dog’s perspective was that Monday sucked. No one curled in bed with her like they did the lazy day before. No one snuggled with her on the couch. She had food, water, and a doggy door. But my productive business day meant she didn’t have my attention.We can’t give everything our full attention simultaneously. We have to prioritize, budget our time, and make sure when our work is done that we devote time to the other values in our life. Sybil🐾 and I are snuggling now. All is good.#RiseOverMountains
